Our Activities
Bear Sighting, Interpretative Routes and Bivouac in Somiedo“Come and explore with us the most unusual corners of the Natural Park of Somiedo (Asturias).”
In Somiedo the natural cycle is deeply marked by seasonal changes, fauna, flora, landscapes and livestock activity, that is the reason why each living synchronizes with the seasons and the same events are repeated at the same time of the year.
Somiedo Experience guides small groups through selected routes, combining the interpretation of the landscape, the observation of fauna and flora and the visits to the mythical brañas and the most important lake complex in Asturias.
We try to establish these routes based on the most interesting natural events of every season so that you can enjoy: a walk through the forest in Autumn, the sighting of a bear with her cubs in Spring, Saliencia lakes breathtaking landscape when the colors of the heather and gorse mix, the sound of the bellowing (berrea) at the end of the Summer, the wolf howling in winter and even, going back in time visiting the innumerable and unique teitos in this land.
